Day 9
Fox Septet.

A bit late, I hope to get day 10 later today at my blog. But I dusted this a bit, maybe I can inspire someone, maybe myself as well………………….

The Septet is a poem, containing seven lines. The French word Sept can be found in it, which means a seven line poem with a syllable pattern 3 – 5 – 7 – 9 - 7 – 5 - 3.

Fox Septet is like the cinquain butterflies, a Septet that has been fused together into one stanza, dropping one of the 3 syllable middle lines - i.e. 13 lines with
a 3–5 –7–9 - 7–5–3–5 –7–9- 7–5 –3 pattern).

I took the cinguain as sample. I thought, what is possible with a cinquain is als possible with a septet. I invented it somewhere in 2005.

Cinquains in the form as defined by Adelaide Crapsey, a five line poem with a syllable pattern of 2-4-6-8-2.

Cinquain butterflies (a mirror cinquain that has been fused together into one stanza, dropping one of the 2 syllable middle lines - i.e. 9 lines with a
2-4-6-8-2-8-6-4-2 pattern).

Day 8

Day 8 Woohoo.

Another day done. Today was good to me, creatively seen. Thanks for all the comments. I did some work to get me going into writing again, collecting articles, prompts, words.............. Re-arrange a sort of agenda, kind of file to keep my records is of what I did. I used it before and it worked well, so I jut down the I ideas I have, the projects I am working on, and on a special sheet, what I did and how much words I have written.........

The 30 day challenge..............

My Rasmussen Card finished, glue-ing I mean. I hope today to get my written part finished. I had problems to find the right images, so I went into the symbol images as well. I hope to publish both tomorrow. My task for today is already known...... ;o)

Did a lot of word cutting, and found some nice writing assignments which were used for school in English. Later this year I hope to draw again.,

Day 7

Aha an other day, I do surprise me too. Today I searched for images fo my Rasmussen Card, but it is very difficult because look in magazines, all people are smiling, even with the worst story. But I keep looking, I did this before, and I did find the images I needed back then.

I also cut words out of the magazine I went through, why?

In an article written by Molly Anderson-Childers, she called it wordpool, and was in an article for children. Cut out a lot of words, inspiring, odd.... all kind of words. Put it in empty fishbowl, a had, a nice box and pull out 10, 20 or just what you want and make a poem or a short story.

I thought as it is a nice idea.

Day 6

Hello here day 6,

What have I done this day.......... First of all thank for the comments, it always nice to know what other people think. And those where nice. But nice or not, sometimes not so nice comments can be useful as well.

Today I made myself a commitment to make a SoulCollage® Card. It will be called Rasmussen. If I have finished it, I think you"ll understand the title. Now I am busy to collect the right images to glue on it. Will put the card if I find out how, and the written part here. And now it is written here, so I have to keep up to my commitment.

I have a few new cahiers. Why? To start on August 1, with a kind of one sentence journal. Just telling in less words the date, weather, my mood, bad things, good things, and so on.............

Got the idea from the Net. And I turn it into the best way for me. I use a cahier for every month. A lot cheaper as the special cards you can buy for this, a lot cheaper.........

Up to day 7, see if I can find a photo of Rasmussen and other images in between the housekeeping and the kids.

Thirty Day Challenge Day 1 to 5

Thirty Day Challenge

I allready started it with out knowing.

Day 1: Sat. 21 july 2007 I jotted down some interresting words: gouden habijt/golden habit meaning the yellow jersey in the Tour de France.

Day 2: Sun. 22 july 2007 I made a haiku, in Dutch I'm afraid about that golde habit. When I have polished it I will put them here and in English as well.

Day 3: Mon. 23 july 2007 Made a haiku about the moon........ Have to polish it as well and I will do the same as day two.

Day 4: Tues. 24 july 2007 Collecting all kind of article about writing with tips, wich can be useful to me. In my mind I was already making profiles about people to use in stories, one of the tips I read. In a day or two I will put some characters on paper. I am also putting e-courses in place to start with for better writting and journaling. I start with them when it is school time again.

Day 5: Wednes. 25 july 2007 Collecting prompt and different kind of journaling ideas today. I didn't know that much journaling ideas where there. So I have enough for years I guess. ;-). I also jotted very wise words down my 9 years old daughter told me.

De bankrover heeft een overval in mijn en jouw hart gepleegd of te wel papa steelt liefde uit ons hart en dat doet pijn. Meaning the bankrobber has commited a robbery in mine and your (is me) heart. Daddy can be an grumpy man and that hurts in our heart she said. Hope I translate it well.

I might use that later.
